“Social Sciences 101” Program Starts Once Again with High Energy and Strong Attendance
Playing a significant role in sharing our University's social sciences vision with high school students, Social Sciences 101 has officially started.

Organized annually by our University as part of TercihFest, aimed at raising youth awareness in the social sciences and empowering them to build strong career plans, Social Sciences 101 has officially launched.

In the 2026–2027 academic year, our University continues to welcome high school students for the program's first session, held between October 12 and 27, which has drawn high attendance so far from Istanbul, as well as Balıkesir, İzmir, and Aydın.

Students Meet with Our Faculty in Sample Lecture Sessions

The program offers participants the opportunity to experience fields such as Law, Psychology, Political Science, Economics, Communication, History, Sociology, Management, and numerous other social science disciplines from an academic perspective. Within this framework, our faculty members introduce participants to the rich world of the social sciences through engaging sample lectures and interactive presentations centered on compelling topics, including Perception of Reality in the Media, The Ottomans and Venice, Do Humanoid Robots Have a Mind?, Brand Protection and the Issue of Counterfeiting, The Balkans in International Relations, and Emotional Intelligence in the Qur'an and Hadith.

Providing participants with an environment to meet with our faculty and consult on subjects of interest, the program also offered them first-hand experience of the Ibn Haldun University Complex and its educational facilities.

Social Sciences 101 will continue in the coming weeks with contributions from faculty members across various disciplines and the active participation of 11th and 12th-grade high school students from all across Türkiye.
