Great Success of Our Students in the ISAM Research Assistantship Exam
Four of our students qualified for the 15 research assistant positions opened by ISAM as ‘permanent’.

Our students achieved great success in the exam and interview evaluations conducted by ISAM, one of the most prominent science, research, and specialization institutions in our country, for the recruitment of research assistants in various fields.

This semester, 12 researchers were recruited for the 15-person research assistant position for which senior undergraduate, master's and doctoral students from universities all over Turkey applied, and 4 of our students qualified for this position as “noble”. Again, 4 of our students who applied for the same position were included in the final list as “substitutes”.

Our University's Approach to Education Brings Success

Among the factors that contributed to the success of our students, in addition to the qualified education focusing only on social sciences and the encouraging study-research climate provided by our University for its students, their command of English and Arabic languages, double major and minor opportunities, a rich pool of elective courses outside the field, and their international experiences were effective.

Our Students Will Work in Different Fields From “Bio-Ethics” to “Far Eastern Studies” as ISAM Researchers

Büşra Nur Mete, one of our students who has been granted a permanent position, will continue her studies as an ISAM Researcher in the field of “Bio-Ethics”; Yusuf Kazım Buyruk in the field of “Islamic Political Thought”; Furkan Yalçınkaya in the field of “Public Law in Islamic History”; and Meryem Arslan in the field of “Far Eastern Studies”.

Enes Ürün in the field of “Contemporary Islamic Thought”, Rumeysa Merve Koç in the field of “Family and Values Studies”, Emine Umaç in the field of “Bio-Ethics”, and Muhammed Bahaeddin Pişkin in the field of “Contemporary Hadith Studies” were found in the final list as “reserve”.

We congratulate all our students who have been successful in the exam and evaluation process of this Research Assistantship opened by ISAM (Islamic Research Center of the Religious Foundation of Turkey) to train researchers in various fields in order to update and carry forward the accumulation of knowledge that ISAM (Islamic Research Center of the Religious Foundation of Turkey) has put forward with collective studies from the past to the present, and we wish them great success in their careers.
