Assist Prof. Taha Burak Toprak, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Department of Psychology, in his lecture titled “The Journey of Psychology: Between the Soul and the Body”, he first went to the origin of the word psychology and stated that it is a combination of the Greek words “Psukhē” and “Logos” and emphasised the sub-meanings of these concepts. Toprak continued by saying; ‘The story of psychology is actually the story of Psukhē and the story of Logos.’ and drew a theoretical framework about what students will learn in this section. "If you are going to deal with modern science, what you can do about Psukhē is very limited. Sensory knowledge (laboratory knowledge) is essential for modern psychology.” With these statements, he emphasised the second applied part of the course, “Clinical Psychology”.

Assist Prof. Merve Şahin at the School of Business, Department of Management, drew a historical plan from the past to the present with Industry 1.0 - 2.0 - 3.0 - 4.0 in her lecture on “Changing Production Processes and New Business Models with Digital Transformation”.
