The ninth edition of TercihFest, which takes place with the participation of successful university candidates from all over our country who took the YKS exam, will be held this year on August 1-2-3, 2026, at the Ibn Haldun University Başakşehir Complex. Candidate students benefit from the program completely free of charge, including transportation and accommodation.
TercihFest, Türkiye's first and only university preference festival organized by our University, aims to enable university candidates to spend their preference period more efficiently and enjoyably, and to make the most appropriate university and department choices for themselves. In line with this goal, the TercihFest program has been prepared to provide its participants with a real university experience for three days.
The TercihFest ’26 program has been created based on the belief that in a rapidly changing world, centered around the increasing importance of social sciences and humanities, the actors who will make a real contribution to humanity and build the future can only be individuals who have received a qualified social sciences/humanities formation and who read the world accurately.
In this regard, experts in their fields will be hosted on our campus and brought together with university candidates. Conferences and Summit Talks, guest-starring prominent figures of our country in various fields, will offer opportunities to share experiences and visions for the future.
Within the scope of the program, candidates who get to know the departments closely by participating in workshops and sample lectures by academicians will have the opportunity to learn about career opportunities by meeting with academicians, while experiencing the academic and professional opportunities of our campus.
Speakers in fields whose importance is increasing locally and globally will participate in TercihFest, which is organized thematically this year as well. Important names from A. Burak Dağlıoğlu, President of the Investment and Finance Office of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye, to Serdar Karagöz, Director General of Anadolu Agency; from Ambassador Prof. Gülnur Aybet, Permanent Representative to UNESCO, to Hakan Bayrakçı, President of SONAR; and from Safi Arpaguş, Head of Religious Affairs, to Football Manager Nuri Şahin and Businessman Ali Ülker, will be the Summit Speakers.
In the program, where the transportation and accommodation of participants from all over Türkiye will be provided completely free of charge, participants will also have the opportunity to have one-on-one meetings with career and preference counseling experts, university students, alumni, academicians, and sector representatives. The program also offers a rich content full of social activities.
